People Can Enjoy a Free Place to Stay If They Climb 8303 Feet to Get There

Nothing comes for free, as the saying goes, and that is definitely the case when it comes to this mountain top cabin. Although no one has to pay to use the triangular abode, people still have to put in a good amount of work in before enjoying it. Located on the edge of Foronon Buinz in Italy’s Julian Alps, the mountain top cabin pays tribute to the deceased climber Luka Vuerich.

Fellow climbers must scale 8303 feet (2531 meters) above sea level in order to reach the mountain top cabin and revel in jaw dropping panoramic views the location offers. Designed by Italian architect Giovanni Pesamosca and built in just two days, it can accommodate up to nine people.
