This Mountain Museum by Zaha Hadid Architechts Burrows Through a Cliff

The designers at Zaha Hadid Architects have created yet another architectural wonder with the Messner Mountain Museum design. Zaha Hadid's concept design envisions a building built straight through a mountain. The futuristic structure burrows through a grassy mountain in the Mount Kronplatz region in order to stylishly house the museum's treasures. One side of the building juts out of the mountain while the other acts as an entrance by protruding from the other side.

The museum design will be built as the sixth part of the Messner Mountain Museum. Zaha Hadid chose the location because of the unique opportunity to provide visitors with an amazing view of the Dolomites. The architectural firm will be working with mountaineer Reinhold Messner and ski resort Kronplatz to make the museum a reality.
