With the holidays around the corner, Motorola will open 'Moto,' the brand's first brick and mortar location. The store will open in its hometown of Chicago and will give customers a hands-on experience of its newest gadgets. The store will double as an interactive environment with dedicated areas where new technologies can be tested.
Moto-Maker mini workshops will also be available, where customers will be able to customize their very own Moto X Pure Edition smartphone. There will also be a 360 degree boutique where the brand's selection of wearables will be on display and can be tested.
The experiential orientation of the store comes as no surprise and follows in the footsteps of Apple and Microsoft's similarly immersive, hands-on retail locations.
