Biodegradable Moss Planter is Mother Nature-Approved

This gorgeous moss planter is the result of a collaboration between Azuma Makoto and Unitika Ltd., and in these images it's showcased at the Tokyo Fiber Sensware exhibition at the 2009 Milan Furniture Fair.

The biodegradable moss planter is effectively an organic carpet, and the plant-derived fiber on which the moss grows will naturally decompose in about 10 years, leaving only water and carbon dioxide.
