The Moog Matriarch Creates Rich Textural Chord Patterns

The Moog Matriarch is described as a "4-note paraphonic analog synthesizer with a built-in Sequencer, Arpeggiator, stereo Ladder Filters, and stereo Analog Delay." With no patching necessary, the synth can be used to generate an array of rich chord patterns, which have a unique textural quality that allows for plenty of versatility. The synth also features a total of 90 modular patch points, which allow for a wide range of unique sounds that can't be found elsewhere.

To showcase the range of stereophonic sounds that can be created using the Moog Matriarch, the audio brand partnered with multi-instrumentalist Lisa Bella Donna, producer Max Ravitz, video game sound engineer Sarah Schachner, as well as R&B duo We Are KING. In the resulting 'Place / TIme / Memory' promotion, each of them supplies the textural chord sounds a unique personality, highlighting the creative leeway that's offered by the synth.

The Moog Matriarch is currently available for pre-order, with orders expected to ship in the summer.
