Rearrangeable Dutch-Inspired Furniture

Mike & Maaike Boasts Modern Upholstered Furniture

San Francisco-based practice Mike & Maaike created chic and modern upholstered furniture collection for Artifort. The Terp capsule openly draws inspiration from the Dutch 'Terps' — instances of "man-made mounds [that are] created to offer a higher elevation when it rains in the flood-prone areas of The Netherlands." The result is a line of exquisitely minimalist, smooth and rounded poufs and tables.

Mike & Maaike utilizes a uniform color palette throughout that easily integrates itself into an office or home setting. In addition, the modern upholstered furniture's simplistic design allows for consumers to mix and match the poufs and tables, as well as spatially arrange them so they entertain a sound aesthetic. The visible stitching adds a nice detail to the adorable Terp series.
