Clayhaus Modern Tile is a Portland-based handcrafted ceramic tile maker. Recently, the firm introduced the Caldera Collection, a new series that expands beyond the bright, bold colors and unique shapes that have defined the brand's signature designs.
Clayhaus Modern Tile’s Caldera Collection embraces soft and earthy tones. For this capsule, the firm drew inspiration from Oregon's high desert landscapes and the Painted Hills of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. The collection features an assortment of geometric shapes combined with 24 matte glazes, available in both flat and speckled finishes. The product was crafted from a newly developed specialty red stoneware clay body that provides a subtle texture and tactile presence.
All in all, the Caldera Collection responds to a growing desire for authentic, grounded materials in interior design. The soft, subdued palette and textured finishes, in particular, offer versatility for both residential and commercial spaces.
