Thellend Fortin Architectes Produces a Voluminous and Stacked Design

Montreal-based design studio Thellend Fortin Architectes boasts a beautiful, modern ski chalet in Petite-Rivière-Saint-Francois — a municipality that is located just outside of Quebec City. With the closest resort being Le Massif, the contemporary and cozy house will definitely contribute to an exceptional winter vacation.

For the construction of the modern ski chalet, Thellend Fortin Architectes aimed to contribute with a homey, rustic component. However, the firm executes a twist on the traditional understanding of this and brings about an elegant aesthetic that proves to be exceptionally welcoming, but one that also boasts an ultra-elevated design. This is further emphasized through the monochromatic color palette. Fully glazed living areas are added to ensure guests get the most out of their stay at the modern ski chalet.
