Modern Lounge Chairs

Sibirjak by Anastasiya Koshcheeva is Simple Yet Bold

Sibirjak is a modern lounge chair that is at once bold and simple. It is made predominantly out of raw wood, but is finished off with bright orange cords that are given an unobtrusive space under the ottoman and behind the backrest. The modern lounge chair is finished with thin black metal legs that fit the stylish look of the vibrant cords.

Designed by Russian designer Anastasiya Koshcheeva, the modern lounge chair is interestingly inspired by a decades old Siberian handcraft. According to Design Milk, "Birchbark is a natural material that’s flexible, durable, and strong, while also being water-repellent and antibacterial." This makes the chair practically desirable and not just fashionably so. It is great for any number of settings.
