Ultra Modern Barns

This Emilio Eftychis Design is Sleek and Eco-Sustainable

Designed by Emilio Eftychis, this ultra-sleek house is one of the most gorgeous modern barns in South Africa.

This gorgeous 400 sqm barn is located on a farm in Irene, Pretoria, and has architectural elements of a dream villa.

The interior of the house has a pool that can be opened-up and disguised depending on the occasion. The main floor of the house is open-spaced to a point that one can see right through the house. The exterior is also very interesting for the fact that the house looks completely different from every angle.

"Eco-sustainable in its design, the house employs solar panels for water heating, rainwater collection for drinking and grey water for irrigation," explains the designer on his site of some of the features of the house.
