By nature, billboards are big and made to be seen, but in support of launching Modelito—a 210ml beer bottle—Modelo created an outdoor ad with tough-to-see text and visuals, intentionally using restraint to get people to look twice to see what they might be missing out on. The large-scale billboard on the side of a building in Mexico City uses a generous amount of white space to highlight Modelito's promise of "great taste in a small size."
As adults redefine their relationship with alcohol and change how they drink during social occasions, Modelito delivers all of the richness and flavor they demand in a more compact size, and Modelo specifically positions it as a choice for smaller social moments when a full-sized serving isn't the first choice.
