When Design Meets Price

$10,000 Mobius MKII Speakers

Speakers now don't only have to sound good, they have to look exquisite. The Mobius MKII from Artistic Audio make the point. They are 38" tall with four drivers and an 8" array that sits on top to give 360 degrees of sound.

"The orb houses two 1" silk dome tweeters and a pair of 6" midbass drivers with neodymium motors mounted back to back," AudioJunkies said. "The front firing custom made subwoofer (will be 10"-12" in size) is ported through the tail section of the enclosure providing a frequency response down to 20Hz. First order crossovers are used and on the top end, the Mobius MKII will play up to 20kHz. A variety of high-quality metallic and piano finishes will be available and the expected release date is in the Spring of 2008 with the possibility that the Mobius MKII will make an appearance at CES."

They are monster speakers that can handle enormous input. Price range is $10,000 to $15,000.
