Mobile Hospitality Brings a Sense of Home to the Cold City

With cities constantly growing larger and more alienating, a project like Mobile Hospitality easily reaches out to those citizens who would prefer to keep things cordial. Chmara Rosinke constructed this quirky portable kitchen that connects perfect strangers in public over "home-cooked" meals.

At least two trolleys are necessary for the entire setup to be a success. One is the dolly that folds out into a big dining table with stools and the other is the food preparation cart, equipped with a water tank, a sink and a stovetop. The pair of these can be rolled through the streets and into plazas, parked anywhere and easily opened up. Around Feldkirch, Mobile Hospitality encouraged many people to come together for an al fresco lunch.
