'Miss President' Comprises Unique Captures of South Korea's President

Miss President is a truly unique photo series captured by the eminent Korean photographer Youngho Kang. The subject of this particular series is none other than a head of state of a major country. She is none other than Park Geun-Hye, the president of South Korea and the country's first ever female president.

Most of the photos in the Miss President series depict Geun-Hye from behind, and her face is rarely seen. The artist employed this peculiar way of capturing photos in order to show viewers the side of Geun-Hye that isn't seen, and also to reflect her perception of the world around her and her point of view.

What makes the series all the more special is the fact that it was captured even before Geun-Hye. This makes the photos more appreciable given the likely difficulty of getting such close and intimate access to Geun-Hye given her current position.
