Minimalist Vacation Spots
'The Garden and The Sea' Mini Home
It's called The Garden and The Sea because the very narrow structure offers a great view of the sea. To capture the great view, Takao Shiotsuka Atelier architects designed a wedge-shape that is narrow in the back and opens to an increasingly wider gap facing the ocean. The first floor is a space to enjoy a garden, with half the level situated below ground level. The second floor rises above the surroundings and offers a breathtaking view of the ocean.
