Eco-Friendly Travel Rewards

The Miles App Offers Rewards Points for Any Land-Based Travel

Reward miles are generally restricted to air travel but the new Miles app aims to give users rewards for transporting themselves along the ground. Essentially, the app can see when a user walks, rides a bike, takes the bus, drives or even uses a Lyft or Uber, and then rewards users points for simply getting around. Rewards on the Miles app are judged by how eco-friendly a user's trip is and will be displayed on the app via a sliding scale.

The Miles app was developed by Jigar Shah, Paresh Jain and Parin Shah and was conceived when the trio looked at the problem of reward miles outside of airlines. The app also aims to push more people to participate in more eco-friendly travel.
