Milano Impressions is a high pressure laminate collection by US brand PoliLam that draws inspiration from the appearance of Italian stone and terrazzo surfaces. The range includes 12 patterns that replicate veined marble, terrazzo and concrete-like finishes through custom embossing technology. During production, layers of resin-saturated kraft paper are pressed together under high heat and pressure using embossing plates that create realistic reliefs, grains and surface textures. The result is a laminate surface designed to capture the visual depth of natural materials while offering the performance benefits of engineered construction.
The collection is suitable for countertops, cabinetry, doors, walls and backsplashes. PoliLam's laminate construction combines a high-density core with a transparent overlay engineered to resist wear, scuffs and water, while also providing chemical and heat resistance. Available finishes include Alessia Marble, Bella Concrete, Kahlani, Denovo Lava and several terrazzo-inspired options.
