Mike Ross Takes Recycled Art to a New Level With 'Big Rig Jig'

Wow. This is one awe-inspiring, gigantic piece of art! Mike Ross took two ugly 18-wheeler tanker trucks and combined them to create a monstrously large piece called “Big Rig Jig.”

Recycled art has been seeing a huge resurgence lately, but not to this scale! It's nice to know that two decommissioned trucks can find a new purpose.

Implications - Those who have gone green don't necessarily show it by buying an electric car -- they simply find ways to transform junk into appreciative artworks. These tanker trucks could've been thrown to the junkyard, but Mike Ross clearly took the time to think of a better way to use it in a manner that eliminates waste. As the world becomes more eco-conscious, artists continue to find ways to create sustainable art that's inspiring and raises environmental awareness.
