Microsoft and TomTom have announced a new partnership that will bring generative AI to automobiles to help drivers more intuitive access a range of features using only their voice.

TomTom has developed an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered voice assistant based on the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service that's built into the TomTom Digital Cockpit. This is poised to greatly advance the capabilities of drivers and enable OEMs to integrate unique experiences into their vehicles.
