Charming Micro-Apartments

This Small Apartment Features an Efficient Design in 200 Square Feet

This micro-apartment takes advantage of its space with efficient design, without sacrificing the needs of the home owner. Often people will complain that their house doesn't have enough space to do activities or exercise, but an athletic weightlifter collaborated with an architecture firm to make spatial efficiency a priority.

Designed by 'One Studio,' this micro-apartment is less than 200 square feet and still has enough space for the owner to sleep, work, relax and exercise. The architect took advantage of the home's vaulted ceilings and doubled the empty space as a bedroom above the living room.

The home also appears much more spacious than it does on paper with the use of its huge windows, minimal furniture and open spaces -- leaving enough room for the weightlifter to get a workout in.
