Vans Decorated Iconic Silhouettes with the Michelin Man

Footwear label Vans partnered up with French tire label Michelin for a collaborative set of sneakers adorned with the signature Michelin Man. The footwear range is comprised of two limited-edition pieces -- a reworked Sk8-Hi sneaker and Old Skool model—both of which boast Vans' checkerboard pattern in a blue and white color palette, with the Michelin Man filling the white sections. Additionally, the shoes feature vibrant yellow hues decorating the inner lining, foxing and tongue tab.

The collaborative project by Vans and Michelin was made with the purpose of raising awareness for safe driving -- shedding light on issues including an unsafe tread and over- or under-inflated tires. The collaborative range will be limited to 100 pairs and will be available through Michelin's Street Tread contest. To enter, one must post a photo to their social media that represents proper tire maintenance and use the hashtag #StreetTreadContest.
