These Metal Ballpoint Pens Come in Rare Elemental Finishes

British luxury design house Minimalux has produced a five-piece set of eloquent metal ballpoint pens that feature high-quality rare earth metals.

Each classic pen was designed to ensure that a perfect weight and balance was achieved for prolonged writing by hand and was also machined with precision from solid brass material. These metal ballpoint pens range in price depending on the finish and come in regular brass, as well as two different types of gold and rhodium. While the solid brass will slowly develop a natural patina over time, the other higher end models have a metal finish plating that's three microns thick.

The company also promises that each pen is "fitted with the latest in ballpoint ink technology to deliver a smooth and fluid line with every stroke." To replace the cartridges, a screw at the pen's base can be removed with a simple allen key.
