The MESH 'Wearable Garden' experiment allows fashionistas to put a little greens in their outfit.

Working on the question of how to create clothing that regenerates during the Body as Platform course, students Ali Seçkin Karayol and Mette Lyckegaard of the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design came out with this visionary, provocative, MESH project.

All you have to do is put your organic waste in the cell structure and the waste will turn into compost, add some seeds to it and the dress will nourish them with its soil, growing and changing daily at your will.

The MESH Wearable Garden is more of a critique to the estrangement between men and nature than a functional dress, and is an attempt to recreate a symbiosis between people and environment, as nowadays this kind of issue is vitally important.
