The Mercedes G-Wagen is Being Celebrated in Two Limited Edition Models

In celebration of the 39-year heritage of the Mercedes G-Wagen, the German automaker is launching two special editions and three additional exterior colors. The Mercedes-Benz G350 Heritage Edition pays homage to the storied past of the iconic G-Class SUV with classic design and modern upgrades. This special edition Mercedes G-Wagen will be available in five different paint jobs, each pulled from the vehicle's four-decade-long history. In terms of performance, the Heritage Edition will be identical to the standard G350 d but will come with a bespoke plate denoting the exclusivity of the model.

The G550 Designo Magno Edition is the second vehicle in the limited edition G-Wagen line. This model features the special 'Designo Magno' platinum matte color as well as the front grill louver and rear wheel cover ring finished in matte black. The cabin contains Designo black leather seats and a piano lacquer trim. Like the other Mercedes G-Wagen limited release, the G550 Designo Magno Edition is mechanically identical to the standard G550.
