Ineke Hans is the designer behind 'CHOPS' -- a series of meat cutting boards that are shaped just like bones, sausages, prime cuts of steak and more.
Each of the products is covered in a pink marble pattern, making the meat cutting boards all that more reminiscent of the foods that they represent. In order to create the design, Ineke Hans used recycled red plastic sheets, giving the meat cutting boards a distinct look that plays with its viewer's expectations as a means to "comment of the psychological roots of a product."
Ineke Hans further instilled the sense of humor that went into the project by hanging 100 of the chopping boards from the ceiling of a pavilion at a 2016 exhibition at Park Soestdijk -- giving it the appearance of a butcher shop. Photo Credits: designboom, inekehans
