Sleepers Speed Shop and Native Sons Deliver Mckowski Frames

Costa Mesa-based automotive custom shop Sleepers Speed Shop works in collaboration with Japanese eyewear imprint Native Sons on a set of classic Mckowski frames for the season. The shop specializes in modern Porsches as well as vintage cars in general, which serves as the main inspiration behind the latest capsule.

The collaborative designs feature two different colorways that are made with glossy black grames. The first one has a honey tortoise temple with rose tonal lenses that help with driving and lens glare. The second iteration has mid-green and mil-spec olive drab lenses that are meant to reduce eye strain when wearers are in bright lighting to increase contrast naturally in low-light environments. It's rounded out with branding details and is packed in a custom fiberglass case.
