Native Calgarian returns home for debut studio opening

Calgary, ABâ€" Maya Gohill, two-time award winner from the New York Society of Illustrators, makes her Canadian debut with her studio opening in Calgary today. Maya's unique style incorporates her current ideologies with her classical-based knowledge, resulting in truly evocative spiritually-based figurative work and portraiture. Her work has been credited by the New York Society of Illustrators both in 2002 and 2001, with awards for the paintings entitled "Bingo Pyjama" and "Namaste".
