Google created a new math filter for Google Lens that can help users solve questions. With the new filter, users can take aperture of a math problem, and following this, they will receive a step by step guide to solving the question. Google did not indicate when the filter would be released to the public. The new filter could help students as remote learning will continue in the fall for many different regions.
The new math filter was made possible by using technology form a mobile app company named Socratic, which Google purchased last year. Although Google’s math filter is not currently available, the Socratic app can be downloaded for iOS and Android devices.
