Gravity-Defining Ballerinas

Model Irina Lazareanu Graces Marie Claire Italy May 2010

The Marie Claire Italy May 2010 issue embraces the spirit of dance. This isn’t your typical editorial spread on fashion, but it is a spread about art. Canadian-Romanian model Irina Lazareanu displays her talented skills of dance for the shoot as she is known to have done shoots like this in the past. Titled "Passo Latino" the shoot was shot by photographer David Bellemere and he did a good job capturing each movements that Lazareanu made.

Posing in what seems to be a broken down and deserted dance studio, Lazareanu gracefully stretches making it look like a seamless pose.  One picture has her posing like she is defining gravity, posing in a ballerina style sideways against the wall. Enjoy the spread!
