Marie Claire China 'Bling Ring' Stars Alaina Mitchell and Sara Schmidt

The Marie Claire China 'Bling Ring' editorial is inspired by the Sofia Coppola film of the same name. But instead of British actress Emma Watson, the photoshoot stars models Alaina Mitchell and Sara Schmidt. Channeling the character's fame-obsessed ways, the looks are slightly different from the Paris Hilton-like ensembles Watson dons throughout the movie. Instead, it showcases a modernized Victorian style.

Shot by photographer Amber Gray, the Marie Claire China 'Bling Ring' editorial takes place in a bubblegum pink bedroom. Complete with Starbucks, smartphones and magazines, the scenes are dangerously girly thanks to makeup artist Akkiko Sakamoto, who used cosmetics from M.A.C., Chanel, Maybelline and Givenchy as well as stylist Yana Kamps and hair stylist Yoichi Tamizawa.
