Maison L is an Eco Mansion With Medieval Inspirations

Maison L is a former greenhouse turned residence that was designed by architect Christian Pottgiesser.

What is unusual about Maison L is that the renovation add-on that saw the residence built next to the greenhouse was inspired by medieval dungeons, and each family member of the household has their own tower from which they can look out on the surrounding terrain.

On top of this unusual design, however, Maison L is also an eco-conscious building. Most of the home is naturally lit from the giant towers, while the building's concrete and stone structure keeps it cool in the hot summer months without needing to rely on air conditioning units.
