The LEGO Magic Lantern is a LEGO iteration of the iconic projector which was created by a Dutch scientist centuries ago, marking the first projector at the time. Norders creates the LEGO version and notably, it can also work as a regular projector with a light source.
It is inspired by the Lanterna Magica and transforms into a retro tabletop device that looks like a lantern and has a lens at the front to shoot out images onto a wall. To use it, users only need the light from their smartphone behind the clear slide that is slit into the mounting slot. The light will pass through and cast the image onto the wall. Notably, these slides can be removed and replaced to show a real slide show.
