Ruby Chan was the frustrated owner of Mao, a little pug dog with a hankering for fashion. Mao wanted something more hip than what was in the marketplace. So Ruby, like any good fashion designing pet owner, decided to design a line of luxury dog accessories: exceptionally cool collars, charms and leashes.
Chan started BowhausNYC to create fun and funky, beautiful and functional luxury dog accessories for Mao and other like-minded mutts.
Collars sell for $50-$150 and charms are $18-$28.
