Luca Bordin Creates an 16-Foot-Long R/C Peterbilt 359

Luca Bordin is an Italian truck enthusiast who dreamed of owning his own big rig. Unfortunately for him, the streets and highways of Italy aren’t exactly designed to hold the behemoth trucks and trailers common in America. Undeterred, Bordin decided to do the next best thing to owning a big rig by making his own.

The resulting R/C Peterbilt 359 truly is a sight to see. The model measures 16 feet long and 3 feet high, and is fully functional. An electric motor powers this behemoth which is apparently strong enough to tow a small Nissan SUV. Perhaps the coolest feature of Bordin’s model is the trailer. The trailer is actually an entertainment center featuring a 22-inch LCD TV complete with sound system, and just in case you are wondering, he does not plan on selling it.
