Birkenstock and Fear of God Design the Los Feliz Sandal

Birkenstock works in collaboration with streetwear giant Fear of God on a new footwear silhouette in the form of the Los Felix shoe. It is a brand-new sandal style that is named after the notable Los Angeles neighborhood. It boasts a muted look and has a forefoot strap that is done in either a textural suede or fuzzy felted wool. It sits on top of the usual cork-latex footbed for support.

Founder of Fear of God Jerry Lorenzo notes, "We’re always attempting to create a product that’s rooted in function and necessity, that is preceded by a clear aesthetic point of view." To continue, CEO of Birkenstock Oliver Reichert states that "The Los Feliz sandal is a sleek and tangible expression of both brand's shared guiding principles of intentionality and inclusivity. By fusing the BIRKENSTOCK footbed and single strap design with Fear of God’s distinct and refined aesthetic, we continue to foster innovation with likeminded visionaries."
