Parking Lot-Adjacent Dwellings

The 'ZEDpod' is a Low-Carbon Building Design that's Affordable

New developments often take away from existing infrastructure and parking, so the 'ZEDpod' is a low-carbon building design that looks to solve this problem. Rather than require existing parking lots to be removed, the 'ZEDpod' would build overtop of them to maintain the current usage, while adding dwellings.

The affordable housing solution is pre-fabricated in design and could be implemented onto a location over the course of a single weekend. When the 'ZEDpods' are linked together, mini communities can be formed with inhabitants supplied with everything they need within and communal outdoor space to enjoy.

The 'ZEDpod' low-carbon building would offer between 236 and 645-square feet depending on the model. Naturally, the dwellings would be upwardly oriented to help save space and fit more units into the area.
