Louis Vuitton 'Roma Etoile' Boutique Will House a Small Theater

The Louis Vuitton 'Roma Etoile' boutique has opened in Italy in a historical cinema, which has been redesigned by architect Peter Marino into the first Louis Vuitton Maison line of boutiques.

The new Louis Vuitton 'Roma Etoile' boutique will feature the design house's most luxury and prestigious creations ranging from men's and women's ready-to-wear clothing and accessories to luggage and leather goods. The architect was careful to maintain the cinema's prestige and cultural history, installing a central baroque-style staircase to overlook the store's three levels and hanging artworks by the contemporary artist Jiri George Dokoupil. In the spirit of cinema, the location also houses a small screening room to show short films and documentaries, such as 'Handmade Cinema' by Luchino Visconti di Modrone and Guido Torlonia.
