The Lorenzo Busato 'For The Love of God' S/S 2010 Collection

The Lorenzo Busato ‘For The Love of God’ Spring/Summer 2010 menswear collection is heavily influenced by artist Damien Hirst. Busato, a fashion design graduate of University Iuav of Venice, created the dark collection based on a school assignment of "the study of an ethnicity as opposed to a theme of breaking."

The black-and-white attire shows math-class-perfect symmetry and geometrical volumes while evoking powerful themes like alienation, death, pain, architecture and religion. The 'Terminator'-esque ensembles are completed by bizarro face masks and forceful models posing with carcasses.
