Holograph-Translating Devices

The Looking Glass Factory Allows Users to Interact with 3D Tech

The Looking Glass Factory is a Hong Kong and New York-based digital studio that was founded by Shawn Frayne and Alex Hornstein.

Over the years, its team of engineers, investors, artists and game developers have worked together to come up with devices that allow consumers to experience 3D holographs without the use of VR and AR headgear. To learn more about the Looking Glass Factory's groundbreaking designs, Trend Hunter spoke with Project Manager Nikki Chan.

As Chan explains, the Looking Glass Factory has so far launched six different products that generate versatile 3D displays, which allow viewers to experience holographic representations in the real world. Currently, these experiences are confined to transparent boxes of varying types, however the Looking Glass Factory has plans to further develop its technology to be even more immersive and interactive in the future.
