Baggage-Screening Lockers

The Qylur Qylatron Locker System Provides a Security Alternative

Going through airport security is never anyone's favorite task, but this locker system could significantly change the process. Created by Qylur, the honeycomb-shaped Qylatron five cell set of lockers provides an alternative to the conveyor belts currently employed by the TSA and similar security services.

The Transportation Security Administration is currently testing the locker system at new checkpoints, in an effort to make screening more efficient. The "entry experience solution" involves scanning your ticket, placing your belongings in a locker, walking through and then collecting them on the other side.

The technology includes a variety of x-rays, machine learning and other screening technology to analyze the contents of the lockers. The programmable software will alert an agent if threats are detected, but otherwise you are free to walk through.
