The Living Light is an interesting alternative to the traditional vase. First of all, it only accommodates a single bloom, which encourages a more minimalist aesthetic for the home or office. Secondly, the design itself takes on a very basic look and is as small and stout as one would expect considering that the Living Light is made for one stem only. Lastly, and most curiously, it turns the stem into a low light of sorts, hence its name.
Designed by Studio Floris Wubben, the Living Light only works with stems that are hollow, such as the stalk of an Amaryllis flower. The designers assure its customers that the bloom remains unharmed and is still able to thrive even while glowing.
