Scholastically-Minded Style Editorials

The Harper's Bazaar UK Living Colour Photoshoot is Academic

The Harper's Bazaar UK August 2014 Living Colour editorial provides a clear cut nod to back-to-school styles. In each shot, model Magdalena Langrova was found toting backpacks, small briefcases and chic iPad cases, much like one would expect to find on campus come Fall 2014.

Stylist Miranda Almond reinterpreted the classic school girl look with modern twists. Pliant fabrics were matched with bright pink heels, strap sandals, baby blue embellishments, furry coats and black ankle boots.

At the same time, Almond remained mindful of scholastic staples via long brown jackets, thick grey skirts, sensible leather gloves and green trousers, pieces that have historically been worked into one's daily look at school or en route to class.
