Canadian Tire is Releasing a Limited-Edition Bill for Canada 150

Cementing its status as "Canada's second currency," Canadian Tire Money will be receiving a patriotic makeover in honor of the country's 150th birthday. The bright red design will not only help to mark Canada's sesquicentennial, but it will also mark the first time the design of the bill has been updated since 1992.

Between June 30th and July 2nd, Canadian Tire will be releasing a redesigned, limited-edition 10-cent bill of its beloved Canadian Tire Money. Printed by the Canadian Bank Note Company, each limited-edition bill will feature the same security features as real Canadian currency, including a watermark and gold foil elements.

The limited-edition bill is also part of the brand's overarching #RedAndWhite Canada 150 campaign, which will see a small Canadian town lit up to the song 'True Colors.'
