The Lil Wai design turns classic cocktail glasses into works of art. This is achieved through the use of double walls, which isn't necessarily a new concept, especially when it comes to drinking vessels. but unlike thermoses and more,the Lil Wai glasses put this double wall on display for the sole purpose of creating something as beautiful as it is practical.
Designed by Studio KDSZ, a design group based in Beijing, China, the Lil Wai glasses contrast a standard standard tumbler- or water beaker-shape exterior with an interior inspired by the curvy inverted interiors are modeled after traditional Chinese pottery shapes, which were specifically sourced from the Taiwan National Palace Museum. KDSZ founder Chi Hsiao-En states, "We think those beautiful items should not be only exhibited in the museum, but be used in our daily life."
