Weightless Timber Tables

Ruben Beckers Designed the World's Lightest Wooden Table

Ruben Beckers has designed what could be the world's lightest wooden table. Portability is the name of the game with this table and its light frame is conducive to it.

There's no denying that moving any sort of furniture is an annoying and physically taxing experience. If there was a way for one to make it easier, most would jump at the opportunity. With Ruben Beckers' new light table, the opportunity is now there.

The table known as the 'kleinergleich5' features a grid-like design on the bottom in order to be able to hold up a large load without collapsing while also being as light as it is. The legs are slim and slide right into the spots on the bottom of the table as well, so putting it together is a breeze.Photo Credits: designboom, rubenbeckers.de
