The Wings lamp is quite unusual in design to a traditional floor lamp. Rather than using a material shade to diffuse the light source, the Wings light opts for an angular polygon box made from solid oak that is hollow. Either end of the wood is left open so that the light shines out creating a direct and strong beam. The box is tilted upwards as well so that the light cascades from either end.
