Daily Life Illustrations

Tatsushi Eto is a Japanese Artist Who Recreates Life with Cartoonish Art

These lovable daily life illustrations are drawn by Japanese artist Tatsushi Eto who gets his inspiration from simple things he sees outside every day.

His simple yet beautiful art features a lot of mirrors -- usually lamp post-topping mirrors that give the viewer a reflected image of what ever is happening past the width of the image. These imaginative mirrors are contrasted against a simple background to draw visual interest inwards.

He also designs patterns that mimic evergreen tree branches, forests or macro visuals of leaves. One of the particularly lovable life illustrations, also available in wrapping paper, is a close up view of the life of bumble bees -- pollinating flowers and looking around with their beady little eyes.
