The 'LIFE CAS' Helps Wearers Avoid Smoke Inhalation

One of the most common killers in the event of a fire is smoke inhalation, so the conceptual 'LIFE CAS' has been developed to help offer those in high-rise buildings a way to safely survive.

The device has been designed by Dominic Wigg and is suitable for wearers aged five and up to offer up to 15 minutes of air to help them escape or wait for assistance. The devices could be implemented at strategic locations to help those who live or work in the building to easily find them in the event of an emergency.

The 'LIFE CAS' mask has been designed in a bright, bold color that will allow it to be easily seen by emergency responders, while the integrated torch helps light the way in low-light scenarios.
