Lavender Graduation Celebrates LGBTQ Student Accomplishments

Created as an event to help celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of LGBTQ students to the Indiana State University community, Lavender Graduation is a specialized event that marks inclusivity.

Lavender Graduation is a joint collaboration event between the Office of Multicultural Service programs and the LGBTQ Student Resource Center that's done in partnership with Spectrum. The event is open to everyone, not just queer students, and acts as a way to look back on post-secondary experiences and help celebrate student accomplishments. Lavender Graduation aims to help reinforce positive work that is being done on-campus and effectively strengthen bonds between students of all walks of life.

Lavender Graduation took place on December 2nd with another iteration planned to take place next year.
