The Leica S Type 007 is the flagship S-series camera model from Leica. This camera brings the usual and expected benefits of a CMOS sensor in addition to an extended ISO range, speedy continuous shooting and 4K video recording capability. The 37.5-megapixel sensor measures 30 x 45 mm and is capable of recording sharp images in conjunction with Leica's Maestro II image processor.
The camera is capable of capturing images in bursts at 3.5 frames per second. It also comes with Live View and the ability to record Full HD 1080p or 4K video. It can stream HDMI video to external devices.
The Leica S Type 007 camera will be available for purchase close to mid-2015, and will cost $25,400.
